To activate the Fast Travel, you'll need to climb into the barn next to it with the hole in the roof in order to deactivate the electrical barrier. The Farmhouse is located in the northwest corner of Tundra Express. The easiest and most popular location is the Tundra Express Farmhouse, which conveniently enough has a fast travel location you can use to go to the other Fast Travel and visit the ammo vending machine. He also drops a neat head customization for each class that you can't get from any other legitimate source!Ĥ. While you can get the Nasty Surprise and Legendary Class Mods from any suitable loot source, it's important to note that the Norfleet is a Unique weapon, and as such, it will not be found in chests, vending machines, or slot machines (though it can drop from Hyperius the Invincible). Why would I want to try and get him to show up, exactly?Īlso, Vermivorous has a chance to drop Legendary Class Mods for each character, as well as the Legendary grenade mod Nasty Surprise, and the legendary Maliwan rocket launcher Norfleet. The same size group in 4-player mode would give you, on average, 35 Super Badasses, 14 of which would evolve into the Ultimate form, with probably one going on to evolve into Vermivorous (or two, on a good day!).ģ. If you're playing solo, an average sample of 100 varkids will result in 6 Super Badasses, one of which, if you're lucky, will evolve into an Ultimate Badass. The biggest difference is that the earlier evolutions are much more common. (Chubby Varkids are counted as Badass Varkids, and are included in the tables).įor the most part, though, you'll probably be actively trying to get him to show up before you see him.Īs a note, you'll see that the final evolution stage is still pretty low in four-player mode - only 4.5% more likely than in solo. The evolution chance tables below ( stolen taken from the Gearbox forums) should give you an idea of the chances a varkid will evolve. It's unlikely, but it could happen, especially if you're playing with other people. Holy f*cksh*t! I'm not going to accidentally come across this thing, am I? Now picture it relentlessly chasing you all over the map.Ģ. Picture a varkid the size of a small house with legs as thick as your torso. Vermivorous is the final stage in Varkid evolution: he emerges from a Supreme Badass Pod, and will never be seen in Normal Mode (Playthrough 1). Contributions are welcome, of course.Įdit: Added that you can spawn him in the Natural Selection Annex, provided you don't turn in the round where the Ultimate Badass enters the ring.ġ. Since I see a lot of questions about this, and the other threads on it didn't have much information, I thought I might put together a FAQ about the old bugger (there's that pun again).
